Welcome to the Eagle class page. Here you will find all the information you need, to keep updated with everything we are learning about in year 2.

 

 

This term, our topic is: 

Bonkers about Browne!

Dear Parents, 

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the kind words, cards and gifts that I have received. It has been a pleasure to teach the Eagles and I am so proud of all that they have achieved this year. I want them to always remember to try their best with their upcoming quizzes and wish them all the best for the rest of this year!

Important dates:

Week beginning 11th March- Science Week! 

27th March- All NSPCC sponsorship money to be in by this date.

29th March- Year 2 Assembly @ 9:00am- 9:30am

2nd April- Easter Mass and Mime @ 10:00am- 11:00am 

5th April- End of Term @ 2pm 

Year 2 Class assembly- Friday 29th March @ 9:00am 

Our class assembly is all about Mother's day! All welcome! 

Reminder: Please can all children ensure that they have a warmer P.E kit in school, as they may be outside for P.E this term. Information about a winter P.E kit is on our P.E school policy.

Information about Year 2:

Reading books: The children's books will be changed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. However, children will still need to bring their reading books in everyday.

 

Homework: The children will be set homework every week. Homework is given to the children on a Thursday and is due back into school on a Tuesday.

 

In addition, the children will receive spellings on a Friday and will need to learn them ready for a spelling test, on the following Friday.

 

P.E: We have P.E on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon and we will be inside for our topic this term. Therefore, children will need to bring in plimsolls and not trainers for this term.
