Next on a piece of A4 draw a picture of the coastline describe in paragraph one and two. Around the picture write the adjectives that the text uses to describe it. Then in another colour pen/pencil add your own vocabulary to describe it.
Repeat this for paragraph three and four.
Finally take some of your new words and turn them into sentences about the Coastline, remember to include, capital letters, full stops, ambitious vocabulary and an expanded noun phrase!
TOPIC
Research any English city. Find out does it have any land marks? What is it famous for? How many people live there? Does it have a river running through it? How did it become a city and has it always been one.
You could choose anywhere from Canterbury to Newcastle. Please write fact file about what you learn!
