  • Be honest
  • Treat each others with respect, care and kindness in actions and words
  • Be ready to learn
  • Always try your best
  • Have fun

Homework:

  • Reading with a child and listening to your child read is always encouraged! Developing readers need this support.  Minimum 20 minutes three times a week Adults to sign reading record otherwise break times is missed
  •  To ensure good comprehension skills, children should also be asked questions about the text and be able to answer these questions independently.
  •  A Maths task will be set weekly in order to consolidate learning from the week
  • Times tables to be practiced on TTRS
  • Spellings will be set on a weekly basis (Friday to Friday)

Follow the link below for the Homework Policy

Behaviour:

Please also see links to the school behaviour policy below. This will be followed at all times in the classroom and adults across the school regularly communicate to ensure that it is consistent across the school.

Please make sure that your child has appropriate uniform and clothing every day. When you look at the behaviour policy you will notice that on the traffic lights system an expectation of correct dress is established.
