In Talk for Writing we use the model text to create a box plan. This means we read the box plan and break it into sections so we can see how the text is structured. This helps us when we come to our own. Please complete the box plan attached using the model text. You only need a few events from the chapter written in the boxes. In the 'sequential conjunctions' column you add any words such as 'first... then... next...after that' that were used in that part of the model text to highlight the appropriate language used.
This lesson is similar to the one being taught in class. We are looking at what causes a shadow (light is being blocked) and are looking at how we make different shadows. Why are some darker than others? (Less light is reflected or absorbed the darker it is).
