Get an envelope, jar or box (any container)
Cut a pice of paper into smaller pieces
Write on a piece of paper:
- An activity you enjoy doing
- A happy memory or thought
Do as many as you can and then fold them and put them in your container.
Then, when you are next feeling an emotion, maybe worry, fear, anger or sadness.. go to your container and pull out a piece of paper. You will have an activity you enjoy doing, or a memory that may lift your spirits.
Use this to help you with your emotions. Recognise your emotions and then understand that you have the power to help manage and control those feelings.
