St Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church is a church to be proud of. It is used for many more purposes than just a place to celebrate the mass. Some uses of our wonderful church include: a variety of different mass, confirmation, Holy Communion, meetings and much, much more! We have some lovely priests; Fr. Michael, Fr. Joe, and Fr. Rodney. Also, Sr. Delores is one of our nuns, who comes into our school to teach us new hymns and songs, and runs a lunchtime guitar club. Each year she organises the Holy Communion classes on a Saturday morning.
As a church community, we take part in many different activities– such as different sponsored walks/runs. Each week, we have a new mass leaflet which has lots of news on it– for example, what different activities or classes will be occurring soon. Sometimes, we have coffee mornings to raise some money for good causes and a variety of good charities.
After mass on Sunday we are all welcome to morning tea and a biscuit in the Church Hall.
We have strong links with St. Teresa's parish and are proud to be the parish school. Our children regularly attend mass at St.Teresa's Church and our parish priests also come to our school to, where members of the parish community join with our pupils to celebrate mass on special occasions.
