As a school, we invest in Speech Link and Language Link support for our children. They are screened for these interventions in Year R and then monitored on the programme throughout our school. Please ask your child's class teacher to ascertain whether your child is on this programme.

I Can and how it can support your child's SLCN

I CAN's Talking Point gives parents/carers and practitioners the information they need to help children develop their speech, language and communication skills. If a child has difficulty with speaking, they may need help, or they may struggle in nursery or school. With the right help, they can develop the skills they need.
