Maths Learning- Practise skills of dividing by 10

Our last learning session on dividing by 10 today! On a scale of 1-10, how confident do you feel with this? Remember to join our live lesson from 9:45-10:15 in order to practise these skills alongside the class further...

The following activities and resources below will be incredibly helpful for the session too!

Punctuation and Grammar Learning

Join our 'SPAG' session at 11:00 for 15 minutes in order to develop your understanding of conjunctions. You will need some paper to join in with this activity! All other resources are below or I will show you...

I have also added some additional resources below for your practice...

English- To improve and develop writing

Join our live lesson from 11:30-12:00! If you were in the 'live learning session' yesterday, it will just be carrying on and undertaking a short piece of writing. We will also find out what happens at the end of our story and prepare for tomorrow...

The following resources, and the flipchart above should help you!

ANY AFTERNOON BASED LEARNING RESOURCES WILL ALWAYS BE ADDED IN PREPARATION FOR THE AFTERNOON LEARNING, WHICH IS SELF-GUIDED.

CHILDREN SHOULD LOOK THROUGH THESE AND JUST 'PICK AND CHOOSE' SOME LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES TO TAKE PART IN! THESE WILL APPEAR IN THE THREAD BELOW...

Collective Discussions

We are going to complete this as 'Early Afternoon' work in class and I will direct your children towards this at the end of the morning. A time for them to talk to you about a particular question, perhaps around the dinner table this evening...

Are computer games good for you?

Really get them to try to justify their answers, considering both sides and all viewpoints. I may even ask them their views about this in our morning 'Check-in' on Wednesday...

Click on the image above too- this links to an article and might get you thinking about this...

Afternoon Learning- Religious Education

What does it mean to make a wrong choice and how does it affect others?

What is a wrong choice? What can happen if we make a 'wrong choice'?

Click on the image above and press 'play' on this story. Listen to the story...

How does this video show us the difference between right and wrong? What does it mean to be good?

As you watch this video, I really want you to consider our 'wrong choices' and how this can impact on other people...

Now, look at the different situations below. Cut the situations up...

Task 1: Can you draw a picture to answer each question. What should the person do in each scenario in order to make the correct decisions?

Now, let's put your moral judgement into action and see how this can have a huge impact on others.

Task 2: Read and complete the 'shoplifting' activity contained within the resources below. How could your decisions impact others?
