Phonics

Please see the information below for some simple activities that will help your child to prepare for being able to hear sounds in words.

As we enter Term 3 we begin our phonics with the phase 3 sounds. Any additional practice at home with your child would be really beneficial- please do ask if you need any support with reading or phonics at home. We send home a phonics book every Friday to help develop key skills learnt in class. We also send home a 'book to share.' This book is for parents and children to read and enjoy together. Please can you record when you have read both books in the reading records.
