Document 1 is the revised Mainstream Core Standards.  This document acts as guidance regarding the provision that the local area expects to be made available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities attending mainstream schools.  It should act as guidance for schools, parents and carers and professionals working with children and young people.

 

Document 2 is a further guide for parents of children with a SEN in understanding and interpreting the Mainstream Core Standards further.
