Term 2

Electricity

This term we have been looking at electricity. We have revised how to make simple circuits. We learnt how to make parallel circuits and re-visited the key vocabulary for this topic. We also improved out scientific enquiry skills, by setting up investigations. We investigated questions such as ' Does the number of components in a circuit effect the output?' and 'Does the the length of the wires effect the brightness of the bulb?'

Justice

Justice

This term's RE focus was on Justice we learnt about the meaning of Justice and how we are called to work for justice. We learnt about people who have been persecuted for speaking out about injustices, including Oscar Romero. These photos show us hot-seating Oscar Romero and acting as his advisors. We reflected on the cost of commitment.  We also looked at people who work for justice and that are answering the call the to help others.
