KCSP Science day - We were given a challenge to see what materials and different fabrics would affect the friction created between the surface area of a bottle and the floor, to increase or shorten the distance that the bottle of water would travel when rolled from a ramp.

World book day - We started our day with ‘Breakfast with a Book’. We enjoyed sharing books with our families and friends while enjoying some delicious breakfast. The book ‘Speak Up’ inspired our dress up theme this year and we made some wonderful speeches.

We enjoyed some amazing collaboration and team working whilst making torches in DT. We worked together to get the circuits to function and the bulbs to work, helping and supporting each other. The design process and thinking skills of all children was fantastic.

On Wednesday 28th February, Highworth Grammar School hosted a singing day for 320 primary school children from 11 different schools, organized by Kent Music.

Geography took us on a field trip to look at the human and physical features of a local river.
